A handful of undergraduate brothers and alums made the trip to Atlanta over the weekend to take part in the Delta Upsilon Leadership Institute at the Grand Hyatt hotel.

The three-day program included legislative meetings, province meetings, an overall update of DU’s health and full disclosure of educational opportunities open to brothers. The DULI also gives undergraduate and alumni brothers the chance to celebrate the accomplishments of brotherhood – which stands on a foundation of justice while targeting educational content to meet the challenges of students and alumni.

Attendees had the opportunities to:

  • Participate in the legislative process of the Fraternity
  • Define fraternal brotherhood through relationships outside of their specific chapter
  • Identify best practices for chapter operations
  • Articulate the purpose and value of the Global Service Initiative
  • Recognize the scale of their membership in an international organization
  • Articulate a personal definition for the Mission and Principles of Delta Upsilon
  • Articulate significant accomplishments in the Fraternity within the previous year
  • Reflect on their personal connection to the Ritual of Delta Upsilon
  • Identify key initiatives for the future of Delta Upsilon
